
Lengko Rice
Fluffy Rice Ingredients:
- 2 cups Maknyuss Rice
- 3 cups water
Lengko Peanut Sauce:
- 100 g fried peanuts
- 1 palm sugar
- 5 red chilies
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp tamarind water
- Salt to taste
Lengko Toppings:
- Fried tempeh
- Fried tofu
- Cucumber, sliced
- Boiled bean sprouts
- Chives
- Spring onions
- Celery
Side Ingredients:
- Crackers
- Fried shallots
- Sweet soy sauce
How to Make:
- Rinse Maknyuss Rice once, cook until done, then set aside.
- Grind all peanut sauce ingredients until smooth and adjust the taste.
- Serve the rice with the lengko toppings, pour the peanut sauce on top, drizzle with sweet soy sauce, sprinkle with fried shallots, and serve with crackers.
