
Nasi Kerabu Recipe
Ingredients for Rice:
- 200 gr Maknyuss Rice
- 300 ml coconut milk
- 10 butterfly pea flowers
- 50 ml hot water
- 1 lemongrass stalk (crushed)
- 1 pandan leaf (tied into a knot)
- ½ tsp salt
Side Dishes:
- Fried chicken
- Boiled egg
- Blanched bean sprouts & spinach
- Peanut sambal
- Cucumber pickles
How to Cook:
- Rinse Maknyuss Rice once and set aside.
- Soak butterfly pea flowers in hot water until the color comes out.
- Pour the colored water into the rice cooker, then add 300 ml of coconut milk, crushed lemongrass, pandan leaf, and salt.
- Cook until the rice is done.
- Serve Nasi Kerabu with fried chicken and other side dishes.
