
Langgi Rice Recipe
Ingredients for Savory Rice:
- 2 cups Maknyuss Rice
- 5 shallots, finely ground
- 4 cloves garlic, finely ground
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised
- 2 slices galangal, bruised
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 ml water
- 400 ml coconut milk
Side Dishes:
- Spicy beef liver sambal
- Shredded omelette
- Fried beef (Empal)
- Sweet soy tempeh
How to Make:
- Rinse Maknyuss Rice once and set aside.
- Sauté shallots and garlic together with aromatic spices, then mix into the rice. Add coconut milk and water, and cook until done.
- Serve the savory Langgi Rice with the side dishes.
