
Kebuli Rice Recipe
Ingredients for Rice:
- 500 g Maknyuss Rice
- 200 ml thick coconut milk
- 500 g beef
- 1 liter water
Kebuli Spice Ingredients:
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 stalks lemongrass, bruised
- 4 slices ginger
- 3 bay leaves
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 5 cloves
- 5 cardamom pods
- 1 tbsp cumin, roasted
- 1 tbsp coriander, roasted
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt
Kebuli Rice Condiments:
- Raisins
- Pickles
How to Make:
- Boil water and cook the beef until half cooked, set aside.
- Sauté the kebuli spices, then add them to the beef broth.
- Rinse Maknyuss Rice once, then add coconut milk, beef broth, and spices. Cook until the rice is done.
- Add raisins and stir well.
- Kebuli Rice is ready to be served with pickles.
