Gultik (Beef Curry) Recipe

Ingredients for Fluffy Rice:

• 2 cups Maknyuss Rice
• 3 cups water

Ingredients for Beef Curry (Gultik):

• 1 stalk galangal
• 5 bay leaves
• 5 kaffir lime leaves
• 1 cardamom pod
• 1 star anise
• ½ tbsp tamarind water
• 1 palm sugar
• 250 g coconut milk
• 1 liter water
• Fried shallots
• 400 g beef

Ground Spices:

• 8 shallots
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 piece turmeric
• 5 candlenuts
