
Nasi Tumpeng Recipe
Fluffy Yellow Rice Ingredients:
- 400 g Beras Maknyuss
- 1 stalk lemongrass, crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 pandan leaf
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp stock powder
- 800 ml water
- 200 ml coconut milk
Spiced Fried Chicken Ingredients:
- 6 shallots
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 thumb-sized piece turmeric
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp ground pepper
- 1 thumb-sized piece galangal
- 1 thumb-sized piece ginger
- 1 stalk lemongrass
- ½ chicken
Additional Side Dishes:
- Crispy Mustofa potatoes
- Shredded omelet
- Urap seasoned vegetables
- Tempeh stir-fry
How to Make:
- Rinse Beras Maknyuss once. Combine all yellow rice ingredients and cook until done, then set aside.
- Fry the spiced chicken until cooked and golden brown.
- Serve the fluffy yellow rice with spiced fried chicken, crispy potatoes, shredded omelet, urap vegetables, and tempeh stir-fry.
